On saturday, the 6th of June, my husband and I visited a big dogshow in England. The General Championship of the Southern Counties Canine Association. Here we met the best of all Chihuahua breeders. We were lucky to be picked up by Shelda Hornby's father, the famous Bob Brampton. Because we had some spare time, he brought us to the Queen's Castle. There he gave us an explanation about the flag, and her function.

Officialy it's a big outdoor event, but the weather didn't agree with us. Partially of the show was kept inside. The quality of the Chihuahuas were very high. Big names like Ballybroke, Natimuk, Dorrentys, Widogi, Amarantos, Parkbow and Dachida were present. Ofcourse we specialy came for the Bramerita's of Shelda and Kevin.

| At the show we saw some beautiful performances of Lucky's litter brother, Bramerita Road Runner and the beautiful dogs of Denise Parker. And Shelda showed a "copy" of our Lucky called Velma. Which became first of the group Minor Puppy Bitch that day. Bob Brampton gave me some handy tips and information during the shows. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Bob told me that in England there are two special dog newspapers which were published weekly with all the shows' results. The Dogworld and Our Dogs. This was completely new to us, and later on Bob surprised us with two copies which he arranged quickly. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| It was a nice and educative day. We would like to thank Shelda & Kevin Hornby for their hospitality and cosiness. And a special thanks to Bob Brampton.
